Family Vacation at Dawson Resort - It's so
peaceful and the roads are free of traffic. Farms and settlements across the
landscape. The views are incredible and wildlife is abundant. Blue lake and
rocky shore describes the shorelines of the island, it lies between Georgian
Bay and Lake Huron. A trip to Manitoulin is a great place to escape.
Kagawong Lake
Shorelunch - No fishing trip is complete without a shorelunch while out on
the Kagawong Lake. When done right, it can be the best meal when on your
fishing geataway on Manitoulin Island. We pack a shorelunch kit ahead of time
that contains everything we need to cook our catch. Some items we put in our
kit are cooking oil, batter for your fish, onions, pre-cut potatoes, canned
beans, utensils, plates, paper towel, spices, lemons, ketchup, garbage bag and
drinks. I also pack 2 frying pans, a small foldable table and cooking
grates.
